The figure fades a little and looks much more like the fog but somehow...more real and certainly more beautiful in it's purity. The coalescing vapour that is the ~~great and noble djinni etc etc~~ spirit Bartimaeus of Uruk suddenly stops it's sinuous movement and hangs motionless in the air. A tombstone is becoming visible in the swirling fog and a sound issues from the vapour.]

I'm sure they can [Bartimaeus has decided they must be entities like Ramuthra or the spirit trapped inside the Amulet of Samarkand and so, very much able to perform kickage of Bart's butt.] but this is the closest I feel to being home.

Definitely not. In my home, humans cannot exist for very long. I can exist in their world but only if I assume forms - otherwise it causes me pain. Here, I can be in my native state, further out in your human city, I find it harder to maintain.
